Jack and Jill Problem: In this problem you will create visual equivalents for each part of the nursery rhyme "Jack and Jill" by using the ding bats and/or punctuation marks given at the bottom.

A typical Job interview: recreate an ad EXACTLY as it appears in the included .pdf file. Make sure that you install the fonts before hand. EXACTLY means EXACTLY. You have 25 minutes.Download the fonts here.

Designing with Type Problem: Using only letterforms, create six typographic designs in the areas indicated below. The essence of each design is to be created using only the designated typefaces.

Typographic Self Portraits Problem: A specific personality aspect is described in each of the twelve rectangles below. First, choose the appropriate typeface that best expresses the characteristics of each individual; then, add your name.

Logo and Trademark Problem: In this problem you familiarize yourself with the process involved in logo/trademark design and its application to a stationary system. To design a logo/trademark that is self promotional and can be used to identify yourself or your company.

Typographical Poster Problem: In this problem you will create a Typographical Poster using only type as type, and type as image. To develop an awareness of type as image.

Postcard Problem: In this problem you will visualize a powerful emotion like anxiety, or elation, both clearly and cleverly and execute it in a three postcard series.

Final Project
CD Packaging Problem:
In your final Final Project: you will conceive, design and execute a complete musical compact disc package.
