DVD package, DVD booklet, and DVD Face Design

Assignment:
To conceive, design and execute a complete musical compact disc package. To design a logotype/trademark for a music group or individual. You will conceive the name of your group or individual. To design packaging graphics for a CD jewel box; front and back. To design graphics for the physical compact disc. To design an insert for your jewel box that promotes your band or individual.

Objectives:
To develop and improve name development skills. To improve and build upon existing logotype design skills. To create a CD package that is exciting and innovative. To focus on typography, illustration and photography. To design for a t-shirt.

Guidelines:
You may design and/or produce your package utilizing whatever production mode you deem necessary. You may consider photography, scanning the image, illustration. The artwork can consist of scanned paintings, drawings and other sources. I encourage you to combine as many mediums as possible and to be highly experimental in nature. The name and logotype will count for one third of the grade for this project. Therefore it is essential that you give fair consideration to this. The rest of the CD project will count toward the remaining two thirds of your grade.

Software: Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator
Output Specs: 150 line, w/bleeds, all files cmyk
