Textbook
Graphic Design on the Desktop
This book will be used as a reference for functions, not as the basis for direct instruction. You should familize yourself with its content so you can use it to answer your technical questions outside of class.

Grading policies
1/2 grade will be a sum of the weekly assignments.
1/2 of grade will be from the final project which will be building an entire newsletter.

Absenses
4 is acceptable, though not recommended.
5 results in automatic reduction of final grade by one letter.
6 results in automatic failure.

Attendance
will be taken each class at the mid-way point.

Class Structure
The first half of the class will be a lecture/presentation.
There will be one 15 minute break.
The second half of class will be a weekly assignment.
